The SR-71 Blackbird was an American reconnaissance aircraft that served in the United States Air Force from the 1960s to the 1990s. It was designed by Lockheed Martin and was one of the fastest aircraft in the world. Its maximum speed exceeded Mach 3 (over 3,700 km/h), and thanks to its operational altitude of up to 26 km, it was difficult for anti-missile defense systems to shoot down. The SR-71 had an advanced design, using titanium, which allowed it to withstand the extreme temperatures generated during supersonic flight. It was mainly used for intelligence gathering, and its ability to escape from enemy missiles was a legendary asset. It's a really nice model. A few more closeout pieces on the bottom of the fuselage would be great. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Purchased it as a birthday gift for my 9 year old grandson, who needs very little help from grandpa to build this kit. His eyes opened WIDE when he saw the box and has spent hours fascinated by this build. WONDERFL!!!!!!

The sr 71 blackbird is a top notch model. The near stud free exterior creates a relism unmatched by other brick companies. The bricks themselves are of the highest quality. Directions were precise and not spread over many pages. Every piece was there and there is no stickers. All printed parts. I've been building bricks for over 35 years. Cobi has a customer in me for life.
