Terms and Conditions of Newsletter Service
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of the Newsletter service by COBI S.A., with its registered office in Warsaw, Poland (ul. Jaskrów 11, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 952-17-83-570, email: contact@cobi.com), hereinafter referred to as “COBI”.
Before subscribing to the Newsletter, the User should carefully read these Terms and Conditions. Subscription to the Newsletter is voluntary and is not required to make a purchase in the Store or use a Customer Account.
The Newsletter service consists of sending the User, to the email address provided by them, information about COBI, its products, new releases, offers, promotions, events, competitions, and other marketing content related to COBI's activities. The service is provided free of charge for an indefinite period, until the User unsubscribes or COBI discontinues the service.
We send the Newsletter after obtaining the User's prior consent to receive marketing communications by electronic means, where such consent is required under the electronic communications laws applicable to the User. We process the User's personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Detailed information about the purposes and legal bases of processing, data retention periods, data recipients, and the User's rights is available in the Privacy Policy published in the Store.
Each message sent as part of the Newsletter is clearly identifiable as commercial communication and includes at least COBI's identification as the sender and an easily accessible link allowing the User to unsubscribe free of charge. Where a message contains information about a promotion, competition, or other special offer, we also indicate the applicable terms and conditions or provide a link to where they can be found.
To use the Newsletter service, the User must have an active email address, a device with Internet access, and up-to-date software capable of receiving email messages.
Subscription to the Newsletter takes place through a form available in the Store. To subscribe, the User:
a) provides their email address;
b) reads these Newsletter Terms and Conditions and the information concerning the processing of personal data;
c) gives the required consent to receive marketing communications by electronic means and clicks the button confirming the subscription.
The agreement for the provision of the Newsletter service is concluded when the User successfully subscribes through the form available in the Store, having provided their email address, reviewed the required information, and given the necessary consent to receive marketing communications by electronic means. No additional confirmation by clicking an activation link sent by email is required.
The User is required to provide a valid email address that they are authorised to use and must not use the Newsletter service in a manner contrary to the law, accepted standards of conduct, or the rights of third parties.
COBI may introduce technical changes to the manner in which the Newsletter service is provided, provided that such changes do not restrict the User's rights under these Terms and Conditions or mandatory provisions of applicable law.
The User may unsubscribe from the Newsletter at any time, without providing a reason and without incurring any charges, in particular by using the unsubscribe link included in each Newsletter message.
Unsubscription from the Newsletter takes effect immediately upon use of the unsubscribe link and results in termination of the agreement for the provision of the Newsletter service and cessation of Newsletter delivery to the specified email address. Where the Newsletter is sent on the basis of the User's consent, the User may withdraw that consent at any time as easily as it was given. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
Following unsubscription, COBI may retain, to the extent necessary, information concerning consent given and withdrawn or objections raised, where such retention is necessary to demonstrate compliance with the law, establish, pursue, or defend legal claims, or ensure that the Newsletter is no longer sent to the relevant email address, in accordance with the principles set out in the Privacy Policy.
Complaints concerning the operation of the Newsletter service may be submitted electronically to contact@cobi.com. A complaint should include a description of the reported issue and an email address to which a response can be sent. COBI will review complaints within 14 days of receipt and send its response to the email address provided by the User.
The current version of these Terms and Conditions is available free of charge in the Store in a format that allows the User to download, store, and reproduce it using their electronic systems.
COBI may amend these Terms and Conditions for justified reasons, including changes in applicable laws or their interpretation, the need to adapt the Newsletter service to legal, technical, or security requirements, changes in the manner or scope of the service, the introduction of new features, or changes in technical or organisational solutions affecting the provision of the service.
We will inform the User of any amendments to these Terms and Conditions in a clear and understandable manner by sending a notification to the email address used for Newsletter delivery at least 14 days before the amendments take effect, unless earlier implementation is necessary due to a legal obligation, service security, or another reason justifying immediate application. If the User does not accept the amendments, they may unsubscribe from the Newsletter before the amendments take effect without incurring any costs. Amendments to these Terms and Conditions do not affect rights acquired before their effective date.
The agreement for the provision of the Newsletter service is concluded in the language of the Store version through which the User subscribes to the Newsletter.
The agreement for the provision of the Newsletter service is governed by Polish law, without prejudice to the protection afforded to Consumers under the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they habitually reside, where such provisions would apply in the absence of a choice of law. Where mandatory provisions applicable to the User provide greater protection than these Terms and Conditions, those more favourable provisions shall apply.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions may be interpreted as excluding or limiting the User's rights under provisions of law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Matters concerning the processing of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy available in the Store.
These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on 01.10.2026.
