Discover one of the greatest naval legends of World War II! Meet the battleship BISMARCK in a collectible 1:300 scale!

This 1:300 scale model of the battleship Bismarck was designed with the most demanding collectors in mind. 3204 precisely crafted blocks faithfully reproduce the ship's silhouette, superstructure, armament and characteristic proportions.

The dimensions of the finished model make it one of the most impressive ship kits in COBI's 1:300 scale offering.

The Creation and Significance of the Battleship Bismarck

The Bismarck was the first of two Bismarck-class battleships built for the German Kriegsmarine. Launched on February 14, 1939, Commissioned in August 1940, it represented the culmination of German engineering in battleship construction.

The ship distinguished itself by its enormous displacement (over 45,000 tons), powerful armor, and its main armament of eight 380 mm guns arranged in four twin turrets.

In May 1941, Bismarck embarked on her only combat mission into the Atlantic. Her objective was to attack Allied convoys. The culmination of the operation was the Battle of the Denmark Strait, during which Bismarck sank the British battlecruiser HMS Hood, the pride of the Royal Navy. This success made the German battleship the number one target of the British fleet.

After an intense pursuit, on May 26, 1941, Bismarck was surrounded by 15 Fairley Swordfish torpedo-bombers and heavily damaged. A day later, a fleet of British battleships reached Bismarck and, after a short battle, she sank the damaged giant.

Although her service was short, she forever went down in history as one of the most famous warships in the world.

Why add the BISMARCK model to your collection:

3,204 pieces – the very large number of blocks allows for an incredibly detailed reproduction of the battleship's structure. It's a long, engaging construction process that provides the highest level of satisfaction.

1:300 scale – the model looks incredibly realistic and perfectly captures the power of the historical original. It will be the centerpiece of any naval collection.

High-quality prints – the set does not include stickers; all markings, details and symbols are printed directly onto the blocks, ensuring durability and a perfect appearance for years.

Realistic functionality – movable elements, such as armament and propellers, and removable parts of the propulsion system enhance the model's realism and make it not only a display piece, but also an interactive structure.

Realistic interior – Removable section of the upper deck allows you to peek into the replicated ship's interior, enhancing the model's realism and collectible value.

Base with collector's plaque – the elegant base allows for stable display of the model and includes a plaque with the ship's name and scale, perfectly fitting a collector's display case.

Fun and display in one – once assembled, the model becomes a striking decoration that attracts attention and highlights a passion for history and militaria.

This is a proposition for those who expect more than a simple replica. Scale, the number of bricks and the sense of building a legend are key.

Don't wait! Build history brick by brick, with COBI.
