Description

Brrrrrrrrt! Every fan of aviation and modern armed forces knows this sound! The A-10 THUNDERBOLT II™ WARTHOG® is a close support aircraft in service with the US Air Force and Air National Guard. Single-seated, damage-resistant and powered by two turbofan engines, the attack aircraft is designed to destroy tanks, armored vehicles and other ground targets. Between 1975 and 1984, 715 units of this machine were produced. Combat use took place, among others places, in Kosovo, Afghanistan and during the Persian Gulf War. Due to its unique design, stunning effectiveness and firepower, the plane has become very recognizable and is very popular among military aviation enthusiasts! And we present the aircraft in a unique green-graphite painting, which was used during Operation Desert Storm in 1990 and in endless other applications!

Using 667 COBI construction blocks you can build an amazing US Army attack aircraft, the A-10 THUNDERBOLT II™ WARTHOG® in the Operation Desert Storm markings. The set has been designed with attention to detail and is covered only with durable prints. The model was prepared in a 1:48 scale under the license of Northrop Grumman. The set includes a simplified version of the minifigure that fits into a 1:48 scale cockpit. Weapons in the "Desert Storm" configuration are attached under the wings. Customer photo review of COBI A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog Attack Aircraft : Set #5856

I am always pleased with the ordering process for Cobi models. Our 14 year old grandson looks forward to assembling his latest acquisitions. I will keep ordering for him as long as he still wants them. Excellent products and service!

COBI A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog Attack Aircraft : Set #5856

Its a great model with easy to follow instructions. Biggest fight is the wing assembly because they will fight you going together a bit. However once they go on the rest of the model is simple to put together and it is great to look at.

COBI A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog Attack Aircraft : Set #5856

Set was nice to build and looks fantastic. Just wished the ordinance was more realistic as well as the wings more stable. Not really a model you would want to play with unless you're careful but a fantastic display piece. 7/10

COBI A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog Attack Aircraft : Set #5856

Satisfying build experience that results in a great display model, my only issue is the technique used to hold the wings at an angle seems to put the bricks under some stress and is a tricky step to put together. All together tho its a great set.
