The Heinkel He 111 H-22 with V1 (Fi 103) is coming to your display case! The Third Reich's aerial retaliatory weapon in 1:48 scale from COBI.
Add to your collection one of the most iconic aircraft kits of World War II – the Heinkel He 111 H-22 bomber carrying the unmanned V1 flying bomb, known as the Fieseler Fi 103, under its wing.
This model combines the classic silhouette of one of the pillars of the Luftwaffe with early rocket technology. The kit captures the historic moment when traditional bomber aviation was combined with a new generation of weaponry, transforming The face of air war.
Air Retaliatory Weapons
The Heinkel He 111 medium bomber was one of the most important German bombers of the pre-war period and the early years of World War II. In 1944, the H-22 version was developed, adapted to carry the Fi 103 missile, known as the V1, under the wing.
Powered by a pulsejet engine and equipped with a warhead weighing approximately 900 kg, the V1 was initially launched from ground-based launchers. However, air-launch increased its range and operational flexibility. He 111 H-22 bombers operated primarily from the Netherlands, launching missiles towards Great Britain.
The Fi 103 was developed by German engineer Robert Lusser, previously associated with companies such as Heinkel and Messerschmitt. He co-created the V1 concept, and his work had a significant influence on the development of early cruise missiles.
Now you can own a collectible model of this historic design. The shelf is all you need to build it.
What you'll find in the HEINKEL He 111 H-22 with V1 (Fieseler Fi 103) set:
A combination of aircraft and missile weapons - the set includes two models: the Heinkel He 111 bomber in the H-22 version and the underslung V1. This unique combination of classic bomber aviation and missile technology allows for a deeper understanding of the realities of the 1940s.
1:48 scale - two large, detailed models look great both in ground configuration and in dynamic "in-flight" display. This is a real treat for aviation history and military model enthusiasts.
840 pieces - building the model is a rewarding challenge, combining realistic proportions and detail with the pleasure of assembly. Each element has been carefully designed to faithfully capture the character of the original design.
Two Figures – The set includes two figures that allow you to recreate the historical context of the combat mission and the design process:
• Luftwaffe pilot – in a period-correct flight suit, brown gloves, and a pilot's cap with goggles, ready for takeoff.
• Robert Lusser – a German engineer responsible for the development of missile projects. The figure depicts him in civilian attire – a coat and hat – with distinctive glasses.
Scenery elements – an additional collectible asset is a desk with a lamp and magnifying glass, as well as plans for the V-weapon displayed on the tabletop. This is an ingenious addition to the Robert Lusser figure, perfect for a display case or historical diorama.
High-quality prints – all details, markings and symbols are printed directly onto the components without the use of stickers. This ensures the model retains its durable and aesthetic appearance even after prolonged display.
Distinctive design details – a glazed nose with a realistic interior, elliptical wings with a faithfully rendered profile, a suspended V1 flying bomb, movable rudders and ailerons and a replicated fuselage paint scheme with historical markings – capture the spirit of the original aircraft and rocket.
Display stand with plaque – a black base with a transparent stem allows the aircraft to be displayed in flight. A plaque with the model name and scale emphasizes its collectible character.
Intuitive instructions – clear instructions guide you through the construction process step by step, making assembly easy even for less experienced builders.
Movable elements – the model features movable propellers, ailerons and rotating wheels with rubber tires. The opening cockpit allows for a pilot figure to be placed inside the aircraft.
For young and old – the set is perfect as a model for younger builders (10+) or as a striking display piece in a mature modeler's collection.
Each piece of the set tells a piece of history, from the combat missions of the He 111 bomber, through V1 technology, to Robert Lusser's work on German missile projects.
Building this model is a journey through time and a fascinating fusion of aviation, science and technology.
