After the signing of the first armistice in the Compiègne Forest, the car returned to the CIWLT, where it was used until 1921, when it was transferred to the Musée de l’Armée and was exhibited on the Place des Invalides in Paris from 1921 to 1927.

1927 high-quality elements

Manufactured in the EU by a company with over 35 years of tradition

The blocks meet the safety standards of products for children

Fully compatible with other brands of construction blocks

Blocks with prints do not scratch or smear and do not fade during play or under the influence of temperature

Clear and intuitive instructions based on illustrations and step-by-step directions

Model in 1:35 scale

2 figures

5 blocks, straight track

PAD PRINTED, only permanent prints, no stickers

Model dimensions (length x height): 58.5 cm (23.03") x 13cm (5.12")

The railway collection from COBI is still growing! The series is joined by another historical railway car matching the 1:35 scale releases: the BR 52 locomotive and the 50t railway platform! The Güterwagen railway car Type Ommr 32 “LINZ” was designed in the late 1930s. It was a typical structure built with the upcoming armed conflict in Europe in mind. This train car was intended for the transport of vehicles and various goods including trucks, cars, cannons, barrels and boxes as well as loose materials such as coal. Its load capacity was about 25 tons.

The block version of the Güterwagen Type Ommr 32 “LINZ” car was reproduced using 584 elements and has a simple, mechanical system for connecting the cars. Building your own train is easy! The set also includes a figure of a worker with a shovel and small blocks imitating coal. The set also uses permanent prints on the blocks and no stickers were used.

The set includes two new sections of curved tracks (arch R88) and one straight section. This is the second shape of railway tracks in the COBI collection! As with the straight section, the technique of two-color injection was also used here, thanks to which the tracks are gray and the railway ties are brown and have a texture imitating wood grain. The tracks are fully compatible with the products of other brick brands and perfectly imitate real tracks. The block design faithfully reproduces the body, proportions and details of the legendary steam locomotive, which is probably the most popular and most recognizable for all railway vehicles in the world.

The unique camouflage of the vehicle certainly draws attention. The locomotive is released in a gray color that corresponds to the painting of German military locomotives on the Eastern Front during the German invasion of the Soviet Union. The set also includes a special figure of a German military train driver. The locomotive model was designed in 1:35 scale and features numerous details like symbols, numbering, markings and numerous prints inside the engine room of the locomotive. Thanks to the easily removable roof of the engine room, you can look inside to see the faithfully reproduced details of the devices and instruments used to drive the vehicle. You can even see burning coal in the fire box!

As with a real steam locomotive, the entire engine and tender is coupled together in such a way that it moves simultaneously. Inside the model there are gears forming a complex mechanism ensuring realistic movement of the wheels and the entire drive. Just gently push the model to move the whole locomotive.

Five different designs of wheels in the locomotive make the model sit perfectly on block tracks and are also able to negotiate turns. It is worth noting that the model is also fully compatible with the block tracks of other brands of blocks.

The COBI company has also produced its own shape of a block recreating a section of the track. The set includes five such sections with a total length of about 65 cm. The track is made with the modern technology of two-color injection, which means that each single section is made of two different colors of plastic that are connected to each other. The rails in the color of gray steel clearly stand out from the very realistic brown railway ties. There are no visible tenons (studs) on each tie, which improves their realism, and each of them is covered with a board texture, an imitation of wood grain. Tracks can be attached to block plates and have a physical hole, thanks to which you can permanently attach the track to any display you create. This set is the perfect gift for any history and railway enthusiast. Build history, piece by piece, with COBI!

The BR 52 was a German-built freight steam locomotive, produced in many European factories in from 1942 to 1945. It was a very cheap, simple, yet very reliable steam locomotive. The locomotive was able to pull freight trains with a total weight of up to 620 tons at a speed of 80 km/h or 1,700 tons at a speed of 50 km/h.
